Purpose of Position:

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing advanced alarm and CCTV systems. You will also gain hands-on experience with AI-driven security solutions while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience as a CCTV and/or Alarm Technician
• Strong knowledge of CCTV and alarm systems installation & maintenance
• Experience with AI security technology (Advantageous)
• Valid Driver's License 
• PSIRA registration (mandatory)
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Duties:

• Install, configure and maintain CCTV and alarm systems
• Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently
• Integrate AI-driven security solutions into existing setups
• Provide technical support and training to clients
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Work independently and as part of a team on various projects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
SAMTRAC/GRADE A security Management/ computer literate.

EXPERIENCE:
3 years experience

OHSAct/ security management

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Security management/computer skills/investigation skills/knowledge of the OHSAct/supervisory and management skills.

Health and Safety

• Ensure that the company is compliant to the OHSAct and other legal Acts for the field. Compile risk assessments / generate reports .
• Drive the SHE committee.
• Ensure all machinery is in a safe working condition. Identify and prevent risks on site.

Security Management

• Ensure that the contracting security company provides services to protect all of the company's assets.
• Implement and enforce security measures.

• Compile reports. Ensure that the premises are safe and secure.
• Manage the control room and the CCTV system.

Loss control

• Prevent loss of company property.
• Investigate incidents ,accidents and damage to company property.

Service providers

• Control and manage service providers , laundry , security, waste company , garden services etc

Employment equity Committee.

• Chairperson of EE committee. Assist in in the equity plan. Hold monthly meetings.

Disciplinary

• Chair and initiate disciplinary cases.

PURPPOSE OF JOB:

To generate qualified leads and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team through outbound prospecting efforts across multiple industries including security, logistics, HR, and fleet manufacturing. The BDR role is essential to pipeline development and the strategic growth of client accounts.

Identify and report non-compliant equipment or incorrect placements on-site to ensure the client is informed and necessary corrective measures are taken. Follow the standard practice of installing clockwise detectors in ceilings during all service calls and report if one is missing.
