Requirements and skills: · Senior level – Minimum 5 years’ Experience as KAM at an Inbound Tour Operator/DMC · Quoting & Costings for inbound Groups and Group series from Europe and USA for Southern Africa (Namibia/Botswana/Zimbabwe/Zambia/Mozambique) · Product knowledge essential · Negotiating with suppliers & Liaising with long established clients · Liaising with the groups consultants who handle the operations and logistics. · Experience in providing solutions based on customer needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levelsExcellent organizational skills, Ability in problem-solving and negotiationMS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) (TOURPLAN, WETU are a PLUS)Fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Leading Inbound Tour Operator – specializing in Southern Africa, including SA, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.Our client is looking for an Incentives Consultant (MICE) based at their offices in CPT Southern Suburbs.Manage, grow, and develop the department.The Incentives Manager is to provide outstanding customer service and ensure sales growth. Desired Experience & Qualifications· Minimum 4/5 years’ experience in MICE, of which 2 yrs. in management would be advantageous (· Experience in overseas incentive groups travelling to Southern Africa - Excellent domestic, regional, and international travel experience. · Solid sound knowledge of Southern African countries and working with European clients.· Excellent Organizational and administration skills · Project management skills and Negotiation skills· Creative and out of the box thinking.· Solid level of Maturity and professionalism to manage a program on the ground with the customer.· Must be fully proficient with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel· Excellent understanding of MICE trends and tech used in MICE.· Minimum Matric qualification. Post Matric commercial qualification will be an added advantage. KPI's· Supervise all event enquiries (existing/new leads) in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner.· Supervise and support the MICE staff.· Ensure proper execution of all MICE events to the customers’ satisfaction and within budget.· Oversee all event proposals in line with company brand standards, inclusive of creativity and alignment with the company’s core values.· Ensure all bookings, passenger details, logistic information, internal notes, and supplier notes updated on the systems.· Maintain thorough and up to date record of all bookings for easy access, filing and auditing purposes.· Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly invoices.· Provide timely and accurate information and excellent support to external customers (agents, suppliers, and clients)· Resolve customer service issues to customer’s satisfaction with appropriate corrective and preventative measures.
