Company Overview:
We are a fast-growing organization in Kempton Park, seeking a detail-oriented
Accountant to manage our financial operations and support our continued growth.
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and
statutory returns (VAT, PAYE) in compliance with IFRS.Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger,
reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax returns.Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure tax
compliance.Liaise with external auditors, manage audit processes, and maintain
internal financial controls.Oversee quotations, invoicing, debtors, creditors, legal
documentation, employment contracts, and company compliance documents.Minute weekly management meetings and manage client and supplier
relationships.
Requirements:
3-5 years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of IFRS and
GAAP, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP) and MS
Excel.Solid understanding of South African tax laws, excellent analytical
skills, and attention to detail.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and
communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA.Registered with SAICA or CIMA and compliant with South African
accounting and tax laws.
