ORANGE-BREASTED SUNBIRD R10 SILVER OUNCE (2016) Silver ColourThis most sought after and most beautiful coin is numbered 019 of 500 still sealed with original packaging, with leaflet and certificate of authenticity. Was also made by the South African Mint and part of the first series of the South African coloured coins and launched in 2016 to showcase its outstanding beauty. It features an Orange-Breasted sunbird and demonitaed as Ten Rand (R 10). This particular coin celebrates the rich diversity of the Kogelberg Biosphere.The obverse features once again a map of South Africa, with the Western Cape province marked on the map, and the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve within the province enlarged and positioned relatively close to the ATLANTIC OCEAN.Vertically in three lines in the left part of the obverse, the legend SOUTH AFRICA and the date of issue 2016. Under the S of South Africa, the initials of the die-sinker MD (MD Mothobela); the artist was L Guerra.The reverse of this sterling-silver coin shows a colourised Orange-Breasted Sunbird also known as the Anthobaphes Violacea. The value of the coin is R 10 (ten rand) and to the right of the bird and below on two lines the species name in Latin: ANTHOBAPHES VIOLACEA.
