We're looking for a dynamic, organised Junior Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing efforts, manage our online store, and help drive brand growth through creative social content and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities Social Media & Content (Creative Side):Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.Create engaging content: posts, captions, basic visuals/graphics, and short-form videos (Reels/TikToks).Monitor trends, suggest innovative ideas, and engage with audiences to build brand presence.Support paid media campaigns (basic ad setup/management) and track performance metrics/insights.Assist with SEO basics, blog content creation, and other digital marketing initiatives.Operations & eCommerce Support (Back-Office Side):Manage the company web shop (e.g., Shopify/WooCommerce): update product listings, imagery, pricing, and ensure accuracy.Process merchandise/orders, coordinate with suppliers, track deliveries, and manage stock levels.Coordinate production of branded materials/signage: from artwork submission to supplier liaison.Assist with event coordination (logistics, setup, materials prep, breakdown).Maintain digital asset library (organisation, version control) and support social media scheduling.Help the team with admin: asset resizing/prep, stationery/consumables inventory, courier/delivery logistics.Take accurate meeting notes and distribute action items.Requirements National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (NQF Level 6+). Recent graduates encouraged to apply!1–2 years relevant experience (or strong personal/professional social media/portfolio for juniors).Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn essential).Portfolio or examples of content creation, campaigns, or social posts (must share links/samples).Basic knowledge of analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Insights), digital marketing principles, and eCommerce platforms (Shopify/WooCommerce advantageous).Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Canva/Photoshop basics a plus.Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, reliability, eagerness to learn, and strong team-player mentality with initiative.Excellent written/verbal communication (English essential; Afrikaans advantageous for conversational engagement)Request contact via gumtree messaging
