Purpose:
The position will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to a skilled maintenance team at the Electrical and Trackless Mobile Machinery sections within Horizontal & Vertical development. The role also carries legal responsibility in terms of the South African Mine Health and Safety Act.
Qualifications & Experience:
* B Tech or BSc Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Government Certificateof Competency Electrical or Mechanical (Mines).
* Knowledge of Asset Management principles.
* Shaft sinking experience will be advantageous.
* Minimum of five years post GCC working experience in a Mining Shaft/TMM Maintenance environment
Key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the maintenance of UG TMMs, Electrical and pumping infrastructure within the Development foot print.

* Achieving Best Practice work culture in maintenance standards and procedures.

* Reviewing and managing a 3 year business plan for the section.
