Dog basic obedience classes. Choose from a Saturday or Sunday weekly morning or evening class sessions. R150 per session or R550 for the month in Stellenridge, Fish Hoek and Gordon's Bay. You will get an overview of dog psychology, learn about communicating effectively with your dog, basic training principles and the key basic obedience commands. Classes are limited to ten dogs maximum.
This is great training for all dogs and especially good to help condition puppies and socialize dogs. You and your dog will look forward to the weekly outings and will see a lot of progress in a short time. The trainer has over 40 years experience with excellent results using a positive reinforcement system with a principle of perpetual training. We can also give you advice on any behavioral challenges that your dog may face. References can be provided upon request.
Private training sessions also available. We can assess your dog and recommend a customized training program. Contact me for more information.

I am an extremely experienced (over 55 years), responsible and knowledgeable animal lover who will offer the very best care for your pets while in my charge.All dogs live inside my home with me (No kennels!), with access to a fully enclosed and completely safe, grassed area. I am happy to look after puppies, seniors and special needs pets - rates for these categories can be discussed.
EXTRA SERVICES OFFERED (at no extra charge) I groom (brush) all long and medium-hair boarders daily. I wash all bedding (blankets, jackets etc.) for boarders staying for longer than 10 days. All doggies staying for longer than 1 week get a hoofie or a marrow bone treat once a week.
PRE-BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
INOCULATION + STERILIZATIONAll Boarders over 6 months of age must be sterilized (puppies under 6 months excluded) and all dogs must be fully up to date with ALL inoculations including Rabies and Kennel Cough. I will require a copy of their vet cards to verify this information. Tick & flea treatments are mandatory.
FOODAll food - including any special dietary needs to be supplied by yourself and if required, I will administer any medication as per your written instruction.
PRICING
Day Boarders: - R120.00/dog per dog, per day (08h00 to 17h000)(Happy to negotiate times in special circumstances)
Sleep Over Boarders: – R200.00 per dog per night
DROP-OFF AND COLLECTION TIMESDrop off: From 08h00 onward, but happy to do earlier in special circumstances and by prior arrangement
Collection times
Day boarders – no later than 17h00, but again – happy to negotiate times in special circumstances
Sleep-over boardersAll sleep-over boarders are to be collected no later than 10h00 on their last day of boarding.
