Hi, we're looking for a person with a bit of construction, electrical and plumbing knowledge to work as an operations manager at our business. The person must be fully computer literate in terms of emails, spreadsheets, etc and have excellent communication skills in English and preferably Afrikaans too. The work will consist of desk work, taking calls, managing up to 40 little jobs at once, liaising with clients, arranging appointments, doing quotes and invoices and managing various sub-contractors to fulfill their duties. It's not rocket-science and much of the work is pure logic. The person must be extremely thorough, as not one little task can be neglected. The person must have matric and some further qualification in terms of electrical, plumbing or construction. The person must have at least one year experience in electrical, plumbing or construction trades and must have a drivers license. Work will be from 8am to 5pm on week days in Goedemoed, Durbanville and overtime and after-hours will be expected without any further compensation.
