Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and develop new business opportunities within the fire protection and construction industries.Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry engagement.Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, engineers, and facility managers.Promote the companys fire sprinkler installation and fire protection services.Sales & Client ManagementMeet with prospective clients to assess project requirements and provide suitable solutions.Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service offerings.Follow up on quotations and negotiate contracts and pricing where required.Manage the sales pipeline and ensure sales targets are achieved.Maintain strong customer relationships and provide ongoing client support.Technical & Project CoordinationConduct site visits and gather project information for estimating and design purposes.Work closely with estimators, project managers, and design teams to ensure accurate project costing and scope alignment.Assist clients with technical information regarding sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, pumps, and fire protection solutions.Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the Projects Department.Reporting & AdministrationMaintain accurate sales records, client databases, and activity reports.Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.Customer ServiceEnsure high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction.Address client queries and resolve issues promptly.Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 / Matric.Relevant qualification in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or similar advantageous.Minimum 35 years sales experience within the fire protection, construction, engineering, or related industry.Proven track record in technical or solution-based sales.Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and fire protection services advantageous.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.Preferred RequirementsExisting network within the construction or fire protection industry advantageous.Experience with tendering and project-based sales.Knowledge of SANS fire protection standards adva
