A reputable company is seeking qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join its operations team in the Rustenburg Area.Diesel MechanicMinimum Requirements:
Trade Test Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
Minimum 3–5 years’ post-trade experience
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience on heavy duty plant, trucks and/or mining equipment (advantageous)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Willingness to work overtime and breakdowns when required
Valid driver’s licence
Medically fit
Key Responsibilities:
Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
Complete job cards and maintenance reports accurately
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic Foreman to oversee and manage workshop operations and diesel maintenance teams.Minimum Requirements:
Trade Test Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
5–8 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role
Proven leadership and people-management skills
Strong planning, scheduling and reporting abilities
Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and heavy equipment
Valid driver’s licence
Medically fit
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of diesel mechanics
Allocate tasks and ensure productivity targets are met
Ensure quality control on all mechanical work
Manage breakdowns, preventative maintenance and repairs
Enforce health and safety compliance in the workshop
Maintain maintenance records, job cards and reports
Liaise with management regarding equipment availability and performance
