Manufacturing group in Mobeni are seeking a Machine
Lubricator to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of factory machinery by
performing lubrication, inspection, and basic maintenance tasks. This role
helps prevent wear, breakdowns and costly downtime.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Apply
lubricants (oil, grease, etc.) to machinery and equipment according to
maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications.
2. Monitor
lubricant levels, quality, and contamination; replace or filter lubricants as
needed.
3. Conduct
routine inspections of bearings, gears, motors, and other moving parts for
signs of wear or damage.
4. Maintain
accurate lubrication records including schedules, materials used, and
maintenance actions taken.
5. Assist
diagnosing mechanical issues related to poor lubrication or contamination.
6. Follow
safety protocols and use proper PPE when handling lubricants and working around
machinery.
7. Keep
lubrication tools, equipment, and storage areas clean and organised.
REQUIREMENTS
1.
Grade 12
2.
N2 – N3 + Mechanical qualification
3.
3 years experience in a similar role (preferably
in manufacturing)
4.
Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of
lubrication principles.
5.
Ability to read and follow maintenance schedules
and technical instructions.
6.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to
preventative maintenance.
7.
Physical ability to work in environments
requiring standing, lifting, and bending.
8.
Safety-conscious mindset.
RUMUNERATION
R15,000 To R18,000 (Negotiable depending on qualification
