The Tube Zone Overdrive V.4 is a pedal with unparalleled flexibility, which excels equally well in low and high gain settings. The Tube Zone was designed with valve amp-like response in mind, and gets it's unique tone by mimicking the signal path of modern valve amps by clipping the signal up to 4 times. In short it features 4 clipping stages for tube amp-like response and tone.
The MI Audio Tube Zone overdrive pedal is known for its versatility, capable of producing a wide range of tones from mild crunch to heavy distortion, and is as mentioned before designed to mimic an overdriven tube amp. It's key effects are shaped by a highly customizable set of controls, including gain, volume, tone, brightness, mids, and character, allowing users to adjust the low-end, mid-range, and treble to suit different genres from stoner rock to modern metal.
KEY EFFECTS AND FEATURES:
-VERSATILE GAIN: The pedal can produce a wide range of gain levels, from light crunch to high-gain distortion, with tight and focused sounds even at maximum settings.
-TUBE AMP FEEL: It aims to emulate the feel and response of a classic overdriven tube amplifier by using multiple clipping stages.
-EXTENSIVE TONE SHAPING :
Tone: Acts as a traditional EQ, reducing bass and increasing treble when turned up clockwise, and vice versa.
-CHARACTER: Adds low-end "thump" and "sag" when turned clockwise, which can be tightened by turning it counter-clockwise, especially at higher gain settings.
*3BRIGHTNESS : Controls the high-end frequencies to help the pedal match different amplifiers without affecting the gain or overdrive character.
-MIDS : Allows for sculpting the mid-range to achieve classic scooped or singing tones.

You'll swear your sound gets right up and walks out of your cabinet! With an absolutely monstrously heavy sound, the Zombie creates a rectified asymmetric distortion with user control of the symmetry balance of the distortion output waveform. In essence, this creates the psycho-acoustic 3D sound positioning effect that will make your sound jump out of the cab. The Zombie gives you distortion that cuts through the mix, plus two bands of EQ.
A control called STARE adjusts the symmetry of the distortion. Turning the control clockwise increases the symmetry offset of the distortion waveform, while counter-clockwise decreases the asymmetry of the distortion. The SCREAM control adjusts the rectified distortion. Use the LOUDER control to adjust the overall output of the Zombie pedal. BASS control adjusts the bass frequencies and TREBLE control adjusts the overall treble frequencies.
The ON LED will light when the Zombie is active. The Zombie is a great choice when used with an ALL TUBE guitar amplifier to deliver rectified distortion. It can take a plain sounding TUBE amp and produce rectified distortion that rivals the sound of the most expensive amplifiers in this class. This monstrously heavy sound will cut through the mix and deliver amazing tone! The Zombie features Rocktron’s easy-access battery compartment to make changing batteries during a gig dead easy!
