1 x SET Vintage White (parchment) colour with Gold writing Strat Guitar Knobs for Volume/Tone controlThe knobs we sell are suitable for both metric and imperial potentiometer shafts. As long as it is 6mm the splines/knurlings don’t matter since the inside of the knob has lots of little grooves that grip onto the potentiometer shaft, rather that a fixed amount of splines. Sometimes this can be a bit of a tight fit, especially with USA spec potentiometers so you can either take a 6mm drill bit and slowly enlarge the inner hole or just press firmly onto your potentiometer, the material on the inner walls of the knob is pliable so the first time you press the knobs on it will create the correct grooves to grab onto your potentiometer shaft.When removing a knob from a potentiometer, do not use a knife or screw driver as this can damage the knob or pickguard, we sell a special tool for this which goes under the knob and you slowly work it out be lifting and rotating the knob at the same time.
