The Online Basic Music Theory Course has been written for absolute beginners and all those who are playing musical instruments by ear without any theoretical knowledge.
This easy course is done by means of the piano keyboard. Download a piano app on the phone. There is no need to own a piano. Every detail is illustrated, making learning all about music theory, a pleasure.
More advanced music theory course also available. How to read formal sheet music (staff notation).
Low cost practical music lessons:
Practical lessons available in Wynberg (City of Cape Town) and surrounding areas.
Learn to play piano by ear or by reading sheet music on lead sheets The study of the basic music theory course, as well as aural (ear) training, will be included.
Guitar lessons available - only to those who can already play guitar chords. No total beginners' classes available. Different styles of playing the guitar: Rhythm guitar, classical guitar, fingerpicking style, modern plectrum style guitar and afterwards, beginners' bass guitar.
