Ultrafiltration System – 1000LPH UF Manual Control
This is not a Reverse Osmosis Purifier – but uses Ultra Filtration Technology Instead
Another key point Ultrafiltration (UF) filtrates in the 0.01-micron
range. By all means the element comprises of hollow fibers of membrane
material. As a matter of fact UF is a type of membrane filtration in
which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semipermeable membrane.
For the most part it does not differ fundamentally from reverse osmosis, microfiltration or nanofiltration,
except in terms of the size of the molecules it retains. UF can be
used as pretreatment for reverse osmosis systems or as a final
filtration stage for deionized water. It is an excellent purification
method in areas where the TDS is low or in drought-stricken areas, as it
produces no waste.
Ultrafiltration
(UF) is used to remove essentially all colloidal particles (0.01 to 1.0
microns) from water and some of the largest dissolved contaminants. The
pore size in a UF membrane is mainly responsible for determining the
type and size of contaminants removed.

CATION RESIN
Firstly Ion-exchange resins are widely used in different separation,
purification, and decontamination processes. The most common examples
are water softening and water purification. In many cases, ion-exchange
resins were used as a more flexible alternative to natural or artificial
zeolites in various processes. Also, ion-exchange resins are highly effective in the biodiesel filtration process.
Brine Tank
Salt Tank / Salt Tank Softener 100 Liter is a salt tank with a
capacity of 100 Liter which functions as a salt container. But the Resin
Cation is usually regenerated with salt.
The Ion Exchange Resin in a water treatment system requires the
addition of salt to regenerate effectively. Media softener / Ion
Exchange Resin (Resin Cation) will reduce the level of hardness in
water. Which can cause a white crust, by capturing Calcium and Magnesium
ions until the softener media reaches its saturation point.
Considering when the cation resin is saturated, it must be activated or regenerated in order to be used again.
The way to activate/regenerate the cation resin is by using
industrial salt, then the function of the Salt Tank / Salt Softener Tank
is to regenerate the cation resin which is filled with melted salt
inside.
