They dont bite or scratch, but rather loves cuddles and being held. They get tame really quickly and wont run away when placed on the floor/ground. Easy to keep as pets indoors or outdoors. Our guineas graze on grass in an outdoor cage that is moved to a new spot every day. They entertain our kids for hours on end. A very good entry level pet to take care of.
