Key Features and Specifications:
• Design: The F3 was the first professional Nikon to be styled by Italian industrial designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and introduced the iconic red stripe on the handgrip, a signature feature of many subsequent Nikon cameras.
• Shutter: Features an electronically controlled, horizontal-travel, titanium focal-plane shutter with speeds ranging from 8 seconds to 1/2000 second. A mechanical backup speed of approximately 1/60 second is available in case of battery failure.
• Exposure: It offers both manual exposure control and aperture-priority automatic exposure (A) modes.
• Metering: The camera uses a through-the-lens (TTL) center-weighted (80/20) full-aperture metering system with the metering circuits incorporated into the camera body itself, allowing for interchangeable viewfinders.
• Viewfinder: The F3 features a modular design with interchangeable viewfinders and focusing screens. The standard model comes with an eye-level finder (DE-2), but a popular "High Eyepoint" (HP) version (DE-3 finder) was also available, which provided a full view for glasses wearers.
• Lens Mount: It utilizes the long-standing Nikon F-mount and is compatible with a wide range of manual focus AI and AIS lenses, as well as some autofocus (AF) lenses.
• Power: The camera requires two 1.55V SR44 silver-oxide batteries (or LR44 alkaline) to power the electronic shutter speeds and light meter.

I have a brand new aftermarket (not original Porsche) 944 GTS / GTP headlight conversion kit available with all the parts required to convert a 944 with standard pop up lights to the lighter GTS / GTP look used on the race cars in the 1980's. All the parts are brand new in boxes and in excellant condition, kit includes all screws and brackets required for fitment.These are perfect for race cars and even daily driving and are a lot lighter than the standard pop up headlights, full fitting instructions and videos can easily be found on the internet to assist with fitment.
