We specifically designed it for standard “slim” filter housings, which have an outer diameter of approximately 2.5 inches.Function: The main purpose is to neutralize the acidic (low pH) water produced by reverse osmosis systems. Raising the pH to a more neutral or slightly alkaline level (typically between 7.0 and 9.0).
