The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting, and maintaining manual turning machines to produce high-quality precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain manual and/or lathes.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job cards.Select correct tools, cutting speeds, and feeds for efficient machining.Manufacture components to precise tolerances and quality standards.Perform quality checks using measuring instruments (micrometres, vernier callipers, gauges).Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.Ensure all work is completed within required timeframes.Perform routine machine maintenance and report faults.Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to resolve technical issues. Must be a team player.Must be hardworking and be able to work overtime from time to time.
