I am a freelance CAD/CAM designer and engineering draftsman in SolidWorks. Experienced in automotive design, yachting, household equipment and appliances, industrial machinery and general engineering industries. I can provide a full end-to-end service including component / assembly design, fully-dimensioned technical drawings, digital output, motion studies, flow simulation, stress analysis, and General Arrangement drawings where appropriate. I live in the virtual world and prefer to work from home, although I would consider relocating if the conditions were right. Very competitive rates. No job is too big or too small. Please see attached examples of some of my recent assignments. Available immediately. Work can be undertaken on either an hourly basis or a fixed price deal. MAINTENANCE FITTER // VACANCY AVAILABLE
Introduction
Well known Automotive company
situated in Port Elizabeth seeks Mechanical Fitters with at least 2 years'
post qualification experience.
Must be a trade tested fitter or
millwright with current experience on mechanical presses (up to 600
ton) & hydraulic presses (up to 800 ton) and rotating equipment.
Automotive industry knowledge is very
advantageous.
Duties &
Responsibilities
Fault finding and problem-solving during
equipment breakdowns.
Preventative maintenance on machinery.
Install and repair various types of
mechanical & hydraulic equipment.
Complete job cards and time sheets.
Desired Experience &
Qualification
At least 2 years as a qualified
Mechanical Fitter / Millwright
Matric
Automotive industry would be an added
advantage
Experience on mechanical & hydraulic
presses and rotating equipment a must have!
Millwright with PLC experience will be an
added advantage.
Strong technical skills.
Good communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Understanding production equipment and
processes.
Package & Remuneration
Competitive salary plus
benefits. Shifts are 07h00 - 17h00 and 18h00 - 06h00.
