Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
You will be responsible for the following key functions:
• HR and IR Documentation and Records
• Dealing with relevant SETA
• Dealing with the relevant Bargaining Council, this is a must.
• Tracking Leave Records and time an attendance
• Responsible for payroll input for Head Office.
• Knowledge of clocking system, printing reports, and analysing data
• Employee Orientation for new Engagements and Terminations
• HR Communication
• Training and Development Support
• Dealing with all IR issues that arise.
• Compliance
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant HR qualification
Skills
• 4 years’ experience as an HR / IR Officer
• Knowledge of FP&M SETA advantageous
• Must be fluent in Zulu.
• Good organisational skills and must be able to maintain proper record keeping.
• Highly driven and able to communicate effectively with Management and Head office.
• Good interpersonal skills and being able to communicate effectively with all levels in the Factory.

• Chasing and coordinating the receiving of quotes from factories and the ordering of samples
• Preparing quotations for customers

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quality Auditor/ Quality Controller
Excellent communication skills
Strong technical and garment construction capabilities
Good understanding of Chain Store policies, procedures, and requirements
Take full responsibility of PP’s and BPS.
Experience working with AQL.
Setting quality standards for the factory following buyer’s requirements and guidance for each department and processes.
Establish SOPs for production and preparatory processes to get right first-time quality from each process. Develop MIS for quality measurement and recording quality.
When established quality standards are there in a company they need to follow and control the factory quality standard.
Monitor the quality of the product through the various stages of production.
Train the newly hired quality personnel on company quality policies and how to use quality tools.

A successful manufacturer of industrial non-woven textiles based in Hammersdale, KZN is looking for a suitably qualified Production Team
Leader to supervise a factory line in one of their factories. This is a permanent
first line supervisory position.
Applicants must:

A driver’s license and
their own car in order to meet shift requirements

Have a minimum of 2 years
manufacturing and production supervision experience
·
Be prepared to work both
day and night shifts
·
Preferably have at least 2
years textile experience (preferably non-woven textiles)
The successful applicant will be responsible for the:

leading, motivating and
supporting of a team of 10 - 20 employees
·
quality checks being
carried out to ensure finished products meet set quality standards and have
experience carrying out 5s audits.
·
monitoring of the running
of the production machines and liaison with the maintenance department
·
the safety of the team and
the production environment while on shift including housekeeping, preventing
safety violations and assessment of possible risks.
