The Medical Technologist will be based at Life Fourways Hospital and will have a responsibility to perform and analyse biohazardous laboratory samples such as blood, swabs or body fluids, in order to provide results for medical practitioners to diagnose and treat patients. Medical Technologists are also responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used to analyse specimens and ensuring that tests are completed accurately in a correct and timely manner, while abiding to Good Laboratory practice and Quality Assurance measures.
