We are a timber receiving and supply company based in
Harding seeking a qualified and experienced Forklift Driver.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely
operate a forklift to load, offload, and transport timber productsEnsure
accurate movement and stacking of stock within the yard and warehouseAssist
with stock control, sorting, and general yard dutiesConduct
routine forklift inspections and report any mechanical faultsAdhere
strictly to all occupational health and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements:
Valid
forklift operator license (non-negotiable)Minimum
of 2 years’ relevant experience operating a forkliftMust
be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishGood
understanding of workplace safety standardsPhysically
fit and capable of working in a demanding environmentReliable,
responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision
Added Advantages:
Previous
experience within a timber yard, sawmill, or manufacturing environmentBasic
knowledge of timber handling and grading
Remuneration:
