Control Breakages & Damages by means of Recon & control on dashboard for weekly Presentations. Negligence of Company Assets to be controlled through Corrective Action Measures
Ensure Daily handovers are done and advise relief of all pending items
Briefing and De-Briefing of Drivers Daily
Vehicle Check Lists to be completed daily and signed off by Fleet Manager/Supervisor
Time & Attendance to be managed effectively – Late arrivals to be disciplined.

The successful candidate will manage an efficient and productive warehouse while ensuring accurate stock movements from our various factories and distribution centers into the warehouse and from there to customer distribution centers and customers. To achieve success in this role sound planning, staff management, and resource planning are paramount. This role will report to the Coastal Operations Manager. Your completed tertiary qualification coupled with SAP experience and no less than 3 years of experience in a similar role will hold you in good stead in this demanding environment.Line Manager: Coastal - Operations ManagerNumber of Direct Reports: 34Key Performance Areas: EffectivenessEnsure that work rates and work accuracy are measured by an individual staff member for all areas of receiving, put away, picking, dispatch, and delivery execution. Poor performance to be actioned.Ensure shipments are picked, checked, loaded, and invoiced in good time to enable the required departure timesEnsure that weekly age/stock rotation reports are done and acted upon.Ensure MHE’s are in good condition and maintained in accordance with the SLA.Ensure that sound housekeeping practices are in place.Ensure that overtime and contract labour are pre-authorized and kept to a minimum.Ensure daily/shift routine inspection/checks walkabout and prioritize daily tasks.StockEnsure all daily warehouse movements are completed within the set guidelines and monitored through the SAP warehouse monitorCarry out monthly stock count on agreed dates.Ensure abnormal variances are investigated and highlighted to management. All counts are to be signed off by counters and management.Ensure stock/product is stacked to maintain the highest product integrity.Ensure no stock is received that is not stacked & wrapped correctly or stock that is damaged or stock that is not sealed adequately.Ensure all stock received complies with SAP standard HU labels in accordance with batch management requirementsSecurity & RiskImprove CRM targets and ensure all outstanding matters as reported in previous audits have been addressed.Ensure Service Level Agreements are in place for all service providers including but not limited to contract labour providers and security.Ensure that all staff training pertaining to risk matters are be up to date at all times.Ensure monthly inspections are done (inclusive of procedures) and exceptions investigated and acted upon.Ensure that standard operating procedures are in place for all aspects of risk/security and procedures followed.Ensure compliance with all legal requirements of licensing, certification, training, appointments, and medicalsEnsure that all alarms are tested and records kept.CCTV cameras are operational and spot checks are done.Ensure that all staff including contract workers have references and crimin
