Expression of interest for a panel of investigators (For individuals, not companies)The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) invites expressions of interest from qualified individuals to form a panel of investigators. SACPCMP, established by the Project and Construction Management Act, is mandated to regulate and advance the project and construction management professions.Process of investigations The investigation process includes:Thorough knowledge of the SACPCMP Code of ConductContact with relevant parties (complainant, respondent, witnesses)Gathering information/evidenceAnalysis and evaluation of evidenceRegular updates to the investigation committeeResearch on technical informationCost estimate of the damage involvedProduction of reportsRequirements for eligibilityTo be considered for the panel, individuals must:Have a minimum of five years of conducting investigations in a similar environment.Hold a bachelor’s degree in audit, law, forensics, or related field (NQF 7) from a recognised university.Be a professionally certified investigator; fraud examiner registration is advantageous.Be willing to attend any investigator training arranged by SACPCMP.Have experience in investigations for professional bodies or similar organizations.Exclusions: Interested individuals should not be registered persons of the SACPCMP.Instructions:The closing date for expressions of interest is 2 February 2024.Applicants must submit a comprehensive curriculum vitae detailing personal information, qualifications, professional registrations, specific disciplines, and experience.Attach certified copies of qualifications and ID.Submitted documentation will not be returned and will remain confidential.The council is not obliged to disclose reasons for non-acceptance.Investigators will be engaged on an 'as-needed' basis, selected from the panel based on case nature and required skills.Duration of the appointment runs concurrently with the investigation committee's term, subject to performance.SACPCMP has a remuneration policy for this work.Submission: Completed documents should be electronically submitted to Ms Linda Maruma at target='_new'>linda.maruma@sacpcmp.org.za. Legal Advisor, Jobs Fund – Pretoria – R882 042pa24 Month Fixed Term Contract Purpose of the post:To assist with the implementation of the Jobs Fund legal strategy and framework, and to conduct research and provide legal advice and support on the establishment and management of funding contracts between the Jobs Fund and clients. Key responsibilities:Strategy and Research:Provide inputs and feedback on strategic plans and annual reportsMaintain and recommend improvements to Legal Advisory policies and proceduresConduct legal and/or factual research and investigations on employment facilitation funding, analyse data and recommend courses of action, as appropriateResearch and provide advice on legal issues arising under domestic and international Administrative and Contract laws as requested Contracts and legal instruments:Assist with the establishment, performance and accessibility of the Jobs Fund contract management strategy and framework including the records and signed contracts database and standardized templates registerProvide legal advice to stakeholders on legal issues concerning, amongst other, the restricting of state assets, bond issues, financial regulation, procurement issues and treasury controlDraft contracts and develop legal instruments for the reviewing of contracts for compliance (domestic and international)Assist with the negotiation of contracts on behalf of the client, Minister of Finance and entities where applicable Contract management and administration:Conduct and provide legal research on projects prior to and after client consultationsDraft and review commercial agreements and contracts to be entered into by the clients Jobs Fund divisionUpdate and maintain the signed contracts and records databaseRecord all new instructions appended to signed contractsMonitor and review compliance with terms and conditions of contracts, analyselegal issues arising, and develop and implement corrective actions and/or solutions Professional Legal Assistance:Provide legal advice to clients and client representation at appropriate forumsScrutinize legal documentation and addressing of any issuesDraft legal documents, pleadings, and opinionsProvide legal support in respect of any projects that may have legal implicationsAssist with the writing, reviewing, and editing of legal correspondence between Jobs Fund and clients Knowledge Management:Write papers, reports, opinions, articles, and other documents for publishing on the clients Jobs Fund websiteMaintain and update the database of all legal opinions generated for clients and/or the company’s Jobs Funds Division Client relationship management:Identify key staff, and build and maintain relationships and interactions with clients, stakeholders and business representativesEstablish relationships with internal and external service providersMonitor the level of client satisfaction at regular intervals and after each significant delivery of product or serviceIdentify and respond to opportunitie
