Our client in the hospitality industry is urgently looking for an Assistant Wine Sales and Marketing Manager to join their organizationLocation: Stellenbosch, Western CapeRequirements:MatricRelevant tertiary qualification2-3 years of experience in a similar role5-star hotel/wine estate experience is requiredMust have good knowledge of wineResponsibilities:Marketing and Brand Development:Assists in coordination of all levels of branding productionManages and updates wine information on the company website and performs regular audits of all partner sitesManages updates to all product information files (tasting notes and packshots)Responsible for in house printing of tasting notes, media packs, and Icon Wine Club collateralManages registration for wine shows prepares logistics of wine stock and marketing materials to support those shows, and inputs show dates into the Wine Team calendarManages registration for wine competitions, prepares logistics of wine stock and marketing materials to support those competition entries, and inputs result dates into the Wine Team calendarResponsible for bi-monthly branding inventoryOnline Sales:Manages company email and responds to all customer inquiriesManages processing of all online orders creating waybills, scheduling delivery, and filtering to the various departments to ensure packing, invoicing, and collection are facilitated within a reasonable time.Responsible for maintaining communication with customers to ensure they are informed of the progress of their shipmentsSales Support:Inputs monthly sales dataFacilitates requests for sample stock and marketing materials for regional Brand AmbassadorsSupports sales staff at wine shows and tastings as necessaryAdministrative Support:Manages all Wine Marketing Drives & Folders V: and DropboxCoordinates travel arrangements for the Wine TeamManages email database and growthManages Wine Team diaryResponsible for office management (i.e. ensuring print cartridges/paper are in stock, arranging cleaning of the office, arranging tech support when needed)Responsible for stocking the blending room fridgeSupports facilitation of hosting arrangements for the Wine TeamLogistics Support:Coordinates logistics for all sample deliveries and promotional stock to tradeCoordinates logistics for ad hoc requestsCoordinates logistics and stocktake of packagingCoordinates logistics for all online orders
