Intellitech Systems is looking for a candidate to perform support and administration for one of their Vereeniging based clients. The role will include all on-site technical support & implementation tasks for a combined manufacturing and admin site with approximately 50 users, as well as maintaining records and inventory for all equipment and software. Management of 3rd party suppliers is also included as well as occasional overtime and after hours support where required.
This position reports to the company Technical Lead.
*Day to Day*:
o Perform resolution of customer issues as directed by the customer or company superiors
o Successfully execute all 1st and 2nd line support tasks
o Be the single point of contact for all projects running in our area on a customer site
o Maintain a good working relationship with customer teams
o Ensure logging of all support requests within a ticketing system (either ITS or customer owned)
o Perform routine administration for day to day IT procurement requirements at the client
o Advise site management on IT impact and requirements for their initiatives
o Communicate with customer upstream IT teams to ensure flow of information into local organisations
o 3rd party management / engagement
o Receive and act upon customer escalations
o Maintain technical/deliverables relationship with allocated customers
o Proactively ensure a high level of availability for all supported services
o Participate in the company standby schedule
*Long-term customer management:*
o Maintain network and infrastructure documentation within a defined and reasonable cycle.
