My client is looking to employ a seasoned and well experienced channel manager to join their organization. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, maintain long term relationships, recognize opportunities, and maximize sales throughout the value chain.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Meeting agreed annual sales targets which will be reviewed annually
* Ensuring that agreed turnover and margin targets are achieved monthly.
* Prospecting and relationship building
* Ensuring retention of current markets and channel customers as well as end-users of the company product.
* Developing strategies to identify, explore and close new business.
* Coordinating, communicating, and integrating of business plans.
* Subscribing to and actively contributing information relating to the sales and prospecting activities in support of the management information system in the organisation.
* Fostering and developing knowledge of the business offerings to correctly position capabilities at an executive level in the customer base
* Adhering to the Group Talent Management Framework

* Experience in sales within the communications and IT fields.
* An understanding of sales metrics and methodologies.
* Motivation to succeed in sales.
* At least 3 years’ working experience in a sales and marketing environment.
