We are looking for a competent Voice L2 Engineer to provide fast and useful technical assistance on Call Centre Voice Setup (On-premise and Cloud). Experience on Avaya, Genesys, Cisco, Asterisk, Voice Trunks(E1, SIP, SS7 etc.), assistance to the CCT OEM/Support will be preferred. The successful candidate will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. The candidate must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. Must be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers. The goal is to create value for clients that will help preserve the company’s reputation and business.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for customers/OEM/Support provider/Vendor/NOC for the remote support for the new installations/project and for the planned/planned maintenance/troubleshooting activities over the phone or emailSupport the remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questionsDaily monitoring of system health check for the alarms, hard/soft phone status, trunk status/utilization, status of the call recordings space etcUnderstanding of the ACD and Dialler reportsCreation of the skills-sets, IP station IDs, Agent IDsRegistering/troubleshooting new/existing IP end-points(hard/soft phone)Daily Voice/ACD/Dialler/Trunks Incident tickets handling for the End-Users/CC agentsProvide guidance to end users on phone usage / features / configurationsAssist troubleshooting and analysis of any major issues (as directed by L3 SME)Support for any onsite voice projects and initiativesDocumentation of relevant issues and processes for future reference

The Manager: Infrastructure role is responsible for site Infrastructure Operations, and Maintenance Management for specific sites designated by Africa Data Centre’s. This will include operational responsibility towards Data Centres Infrastructure, Facilities, Buildings and Grounds. Supervises and leads all contracted outsources staff within the Infrastructure environment to ensure day to day operations and, SLA’s and KPI’s are met as per agreed outsourced contracts.
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the operational integrity of all Infrastructure assets on his/her site and that these assets are operated and maintained to world class, regulatory and statutory standards and requirements. With his/her’s site outsourced team, he/she ensures that equipment is operated within regulatory and statutory frameworks, that outsourced staff are competent and qualified to operate plant, equipment and machinery and are fully trained in all procedures to cater for all operational emergencies should it arise.
The overall objective of this role is to lead site-specific Infrastructure related operations and activities and to uphold implemented standards and strategies related to operational resilience and uptime.
The Infrastructure Manager supervises and leads a highly skilled and qualified team of technicians, artisans and operators to ensure all day to day operations activities are mitigated and ensures that competency and training of these individuals to operate the Data Centre and building facilities to world-class standards making them available for any emergency 24/7/365.
*Infrastructure Operations*
* Leads outsourced Infrastructure Facilities & Data Centre, MEP & Maintenance contracts for designated sites.
* Responsible for the availability of 100 % Uptime on power and cooling to Data Halls,
* Supervise and leads all building management personnel (staff, contractors) operating within ADC’s infrastructure domain.
* Promptly response to deviations, alarms and incidents, repair of faults and restoration of services related to plant, equipment and ancillary serviced supporting uptime of customer load.
* Compiling of detailed RCA’s within given timeframe.
* Compile detailed site-specific departmental reports and submit it on time to Senior Infrastructure Manager.
* Maintains expert knowledge of all ADC Infrastructure related systems and applications.
*Data Centre Infrastructure Maintenance*
* Maintains and adheres to Maintenance Management programs to ensure all plant, equipment, building fabric, ground assets and related supporting systems are always well maintained and ongoing management of maintenance and support contracts for infrastructure (building, electrical, mechanical and control systems)
* Assist with Life Cycle Management on Infrastructure assets that includes plant, equipment, buildings , ancillaries and supporting system assets.

Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications. The technician must ensure maximum availability and performance ratio of the solar installations and draft technical reports on all events

* General junction box (GJB), Array Junction box, Reverse Osmoses, Infrared Red scans of panels, transformers, and inverters
* Respond to all alarms triggered on the solar plant
* Resolve all trips on the solar plant as soon as possible
* Attend to all breakdowns, do fault finding/root cause analysis and resolve, fix or replace faulty equipment with minimal energy loss.
* Diagnose and replace PV panels, cables, cable inter-connections, PV junction/ string boxes, connectors and fuses in PV systems
* Maintain solar/diesel Hybrid system, including batteries
* Apply root cause analysis technique on all major and reoccurring faults
* Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical report
* Perform standby duties
* Record keeping and management of spare part movements
* Report significant events to Project manager
* Enforces safety regulations, rules, and working conditions, to ensure the Company complies with Health & Safety requirements
* Grade 12 Post School
* Qualified Electrician (N6/ National diploma in electrical Engineering)

* Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Drivers License
