I am a child loving individual, who loves working and nursing newly norms to toddlers and infants alike.
I did my practicals at an uptown daycare center where I had the opportunity to be involved with children from 3 months old up to 6 years old. I conducted various duties at the center which included:
Cleaning and sanitizing children play grounds
Feeding the kids
Changing nappies
Managing play and sleep time
Pot training the children
Assisting children through developmental milestones
Assisting with educational programs like reading, doing shapes, colors and numbers etc
Baby sitting and aftercare till parents came to fetch their kids
I have currently been working since 2018 for a good family in Strand as their full-time nanny - looking after their son from when he was only 5 months old when the family employed me. I conducted various duties especially when mom resumed work. The duties included:
Sterilizing bottles and preparing milk
Introducing baby to solid meals
Bathing and cleaning after him
Managing play and sleep time
Assisting with developmental milestones
Pot training the child and managing all play and sleep time
Babysitting and all after care activities
Giving baby medication if not feeling well, according to parents instructions etc
I also managed the daily chores when not busy with the child like cleaning, laundry and ironing duties. The child is now going to school and they have little need for nanny services.Due to PoPia and online scams,I can forward you her contact reference on request.
From 2012 to 2017, I once worked as a Nanny and domestic worker for another family who stayed in Brackenfel. I took excellent care of their baby boy from when he was only 2 months old , performing many duties like , preparing milk, bathing the child, managing play and sleep times, pot training, changing nappies and bathing the child and babysitting.
The family sadly relocated to stay in Johannesburg, but for reference, I can glady forward on request.
I love anything to do with children, well trained with Chilton and have amased experience with ages from babies to toddlers and am very patient plus responsible.
