Needed by Travel Company to assist in travel packages by negotiating and contracting rates that will help convert enquiries into profitable bookings and also perform the departments administrative and operational matters.Experience in the inbound Tourism sector, preferably for a DMC/Inbound Tour operator and B2B - although B2C experience with inbound will be considered.Minimum 2 years with an inbound tour operator environment.Knowledge of Southern African countries and trends needed.1. Understand our client's needs and requirements, know what to sell when , where and how.2. Develop your product knowledge to assist with achieving our key business objectives i.e. on the job training, attending travel roadshows, conducting your own product training.3. Ensure that clients are responded to timeously, tasks are carried out to provide feedback to the travel suppliers, agent partners, sales support team, line managers and MD4. Apply effective selling and tracking techniques to close every potential sale or enquiry.5. Shop for rates with preferred suppliers to ensure best pricing always.6. Be aware of competitors products and pricing and be able to counter offer.7. Ensure your clients are aware of promotions, specials and product developments.8. Ensure management decisions are carried out and provide feedback.9. All travel services to be booked and confirmed and ensure that all details are communicated to suppliers and clients.10. Ensure that the company policies as well as T&C's are implemented and adhered to.11. All invoicing to be double checked prior to submission to clients or accounts for final payment and closure to ensure no looses or overcharging.12.
