The manager at our padel club ensures the operation and success of the club. This multifaceted position encompasses various responsibilities and tasks, contributing to the overall management and growth of the club. The manager is responsible for a team of employees at the country club and works closely with the commercial management team and shareholders to deliver anexceptional product to our customers. Minimum requirements• Matric• Relevant work experience in a managerial role is advantageous, particularly in a similar role within the sports or leisure industry.• Experience in customer service, event management is advantageous.• Familiarity with first aid procedures or possessing first aid certification is advantageous. Candidate requirements• Team player• Strong communication skills, to be able to instruct, listen and engage in 2 way effective communication• Excellent problem solving abilities• Customer focused, with ethics and integrity• Passion for sport Duties and responsibilities • Host management tasks, including welcoming guests, playing padel with them if there are not enough opponents, explaining the rules of the game and creating a Whatsapp groups & content and marketing• Club management duties, including engaging with customers, opening and closing the club, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and that staff are rostered correctly• Pro shop, including managing sales and stock of the pro shop, tracking rentals, marketing and sales of padel equipment• Daily reporting, including padel court use percentage, daily cash ups, and reporting broken equipment for fixing• Stock management• Corporate and school bookings Due to the large volume of applications received, please note that only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.If you have not heard back from us in 2 weeks, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
