Tidy Paws is looking for reliable drivers who want to learn how to become professional pet groomers.
This role starts as a training position. You will begin by working as a driver assisting our grooming team, while receiving hands-on training from an experienced pet groomer who will teach you how to groom dogs.
Pet grooming courses normally cost a lot of money, but we provide this training for free. If you show the right attitude, work ethic, and ability to learn, you may be offered a permanent position as a groomer in our team.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to learn a new skill and build a career in the pet care industry.
Important:
We can train you to become a pet groomer, but we cannot train you to drive.
You must already be a very confident driver.
What You Will Do:
Drive to clients homes with the grooming team
Safely tow and park a grooming trailer
Assist the groomers during the day
Learn how to professionally groom dogs
Speak to clients in a friendly and professional way
Requirements:
Valid South African drivers licence
Excellent driving skills
Able to tow and park a trailer confidently
Good communication skills
Reliable and hardworking
Comfortable working with dogs
Please note:
If you cannot drive confidently or tow a trailer, you will unfortunately not be considered for this position.
