The Sales Consultant will be responsible for generating monthly sales and following up and keeping the customer in the loop to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Junior Accountant – Annual Financial Statement Drafting

Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Accountant with completed and signed-off SAICA or SAIPA accredited articles, and proven hands-on experience drafting Annual Financial Statements (AFS). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting process from source documents to final trial balance, preparing compliant AFS, and ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs, the Companies Act, and relevant frameworks.
- Manage the complete accounting function for allocated clients — from source documentation to final trial balance and VAT returns.
- Compile, analyse, and report on financial data.
- Process balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company guidelines.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Post and process year-end and AFS drafting journal entries.
- Maintain client fixed asset registers.
- Prepare year-end income tax calculations.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements and SARS regulations.
- Liaise directly with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and provide professional guidance.
Core Competencies & Minimum Requirements
- BCom Accounting Degree or similar qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ accounting experience, including full accounting function exposure.
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA accredited articles (signed-off).
- Proven AFS preparation experience (SMEs and a broad range of industries).
- Proficient in Draftworx and experienced with Xero and Sage
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and related accounting frameworks.
- Strong understanding of tax and related regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in VAT, Company Tax, and Income Tax requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach.
- Effective communicator who takes ownership of client needs.
