VACANCY: GARDENER & MAINTENACE HANDYMAN Ref No: KBH-M 03/2026 POSITION: GARDENER & MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE REPORTS TO: MAINTENANCE MANAGER CLOSING DATE: 11th of March 2026 Function: Krystal Beach (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Gardener & Maintenance Handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining garden areas in a neat and orderly condition while performing basic maintenance and repair duties throughout the property. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Ê Main Duties & Responsibilities Ê Maintain all garden areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition Ê Perform general maintenance and repairs in public areas, guest rooms, and offices Ê Carry out basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical maintenance duties Ê Identify and fix safety hazards Ê Assemble furniture and equipment as required Ê Liaise with contractors and external service providers Ê Work closely with Front Office and Housekeeping regarding maintenance-related matters Ê Adhere strictly to security guidelines Ê Physically handle and move equipment when required Ê Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all departments Ê Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and name tag Ê Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance Ê Comply with company policies and procedures, including Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety regulations Ê Adhere to local legislation requirements Minimum Requirements / Prerequisites: Ñ Basic maintenance experience (plumbing, carpentry, electrical) Ñ Ability to operate gardening and maintenance tools safely Ñ Trustworthy, honest, punctual, and reliable Ñ Good understanding of the English language Ñ Presentable and professional appearance Ñ Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays Application Requirements This position requires: ë An updated CV ë 3 contactable references ë A cover letter All applications must be submitted to the Human Resources Department before the closing date.
