Position Summary: As an L2 Group Finance Director / Lead, you will be a key strategic business partner for the Sub-Group Leader/CEO. In addition, you will be responsible for providing support to Finance Teams in existing and newly acquired BUs. This support is hands-on in nature and will include detailed review and analysis of each BUs financial reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies, training new team members and acting as the temporary backfill for the Business Unit Finance Director. Main responsibility areas are: Compliance & Financial Operations: - Review and perform quality assurance of all BU submissions, adding further commentary and analysis. - Support accounting operations (ex. journals, reconciliations, transfer pricing, accruals) as needed to ensure timely close of the books - Coordinate and address internal and/or external audit queries. Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements. - Be the superuser for existing financial systems and reporting tools, responsible for training team members. Identify new analytical tools for implementation. Business Partnering & Strategy - Ownership of the Sub-Group financial forecast to ensure that forecast accuracy is within +/-5%. - Provide financial and management reporting and analysis of the Sub-Group and BU performance - Identify issues and propose opportunities for operational improvements.
