We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and honest female cleaner to join our team at the lodge.
Requirements needed:
Ø Must
be fluent in English and Afrikaans
Ø Must
be hardworking and trustworthy and willing to go the extra mile.
Ø Must
be able to iron and carry out
instructions from management
Ø Must
live close to Plattekloof / in Northern Suburbs and a South African citizen
Duties
include:
Ø Ironing
/ washing
Ø Cleaning
in and around the lodge - cleaning of guests room and bathroom rooms, public areas, and kitchen.
Ø General jobs & Spring cleaning.
Training will be made available.
Working
hours
Monday to Friday 09:00am – 4:30pm including 1-hour lunch
Saturday 09:00am- until the work has been completed
Sundays off including other specific days off - willing to work Sundays IF needed.
Candidate must be able to work overtime if needed.
Salary to be discussed during the interview.

DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:-Greets
and assists all hotel guests with day to day operations.-Assists
in arrival & departures at the reception desk.-Checks
cleanliness of hotel and public areas, lights and as well as front office staff
in proper and orderly appearance and behaviour.-Responsible
for accurate and professional shift handovers.-Prepares
and checks all arrivals and assists should a guest need to be escorted to their
room.-Co-ordinates
with all departments concerned in order to maintain smooth day to day
operations in the hotel.-Checks
groups in, ensure switchboard carries out professional & appropriate wake
up calls to guest that request this service.-Handles
guest complaints and other related daily problems and reports back to the
General Manager on all such matters.-Assists
reception, business centre, cashier, concierge and porters during a busy shift.-Attention
to detail is very important in this front line position.Promotes
and maintains good public & staff relations.-Maintains
and be guided of hotel policy on credit/lost and found hotel guests properties.-Conducts
and ensures the staff are neat of appearance as well as correct attitude and
behaviour, discusses problems that encountered during their shift.-Need
to be able to think quickly on your feet and make decisions with problems come
up.-Ensure
full compliance to Hotel operating controls, policies, procedures and service standards.-Ensure
