I have 4 box sets of cassette tapes that are very helpful for kids doing badly in Math at school, or who have special needs. The first box set called Mega Memory helps teach kids how they are supposed to learn and study and helps teach them methods to memorize their work. The box sets called Algebra 1&2 and Geometry are Math study guides. Mega Memory has 9 cassette tapes in total and each of the other box sets have 4 cassettes each. Each box set has a study guide book along with it. Everything is placed in a compact container. These tapes cover Math Core and Math Lit from grade 8-12. I also have Math exercise books from grade 9-11(4 books), and an additional study guide for the new changes in the curriculum.
PS: I am selling only the box sets (the containers with all the tapes and study guides included), not a cassette player. That is completely different and you will need to buy one for your child yourself. New, each box set would be around R2500 each. Believe it or not, cassettes and VHS tapes are really expensive these days. I am open to negotiation, but they were really expensive and haven't lost any of their worth so if you want them for nothing...then I am sorry, I cannot help you. At the very least you can be assured that this method of learning and memorizing is very efficient!
The textbooks/exercise books were used but none have been written on, and altogether they amount to R2000 on their own if bought new. I would like to give everything away together to the same person to give them their best chance, but I am also willing to sell the textbooks/exercise books together but separately from the cassette box sets. Open to negotiations! Please whatsapp me for more info. 0824489350
I am wiling to post via PostNet or PEP, on the buyers expense, please don't tell me to post another way, it is the sellers right to choose how to be paid, and which methods of delivery to use. I would preferably sell to someone who HAS a special needs kid who needs this extra help, but if your kid is really doing horribly then I guess first come first serve. Considering this is enough for 5years of education, I think the price is reasonable, but I am open to negotiation. Contact me on WhatsApp or Gumtree.

"Yigal Natani
Sculptural innovator with copper, brass, ceramics and modern materials
Yigal Natani is an Israeli sculptor from a traditional Israeli Yemeni family.
As a young man, Yigal respected his family’s wishes and studied at the Tel Aviv School of Engineering. Yigal quickly adapted his technical training and knowledge of materials to more artistic endeavors. His enquiring mind and passion for innovation led him on an iconoclastic creative path. Natani developed his own sculpture techniques, crafting materials as diverse as plastic and ceramics, and baking them in a kiln.
Yigal Natani was inspired on a human level by the culture and experiences of Ashkenazi Jews from Eastern Europe. His art reflects the profound effect that this ethnic group had on his own psyche. Yigal is a bold and original artist and an unconventional thinker. He is also committed to teaching, and ensuring that Israel produces a new generation of sculptors, with the creativity and confidence to find their own artistic directions.

Marching to Slaveryby Dr Sipo E. MzimelaSipo Elijah Mzimela was born on 19 June 1935, in Durban, Natal (now kwaZulu-Natal) to Allison & Maria Mzimela. The entire family was raised as Anglicans and as a child, he wanted to become a priest.
He obtained a degree from the University of South Africa that enabled him to teach.
He joined the African National Congress (ANC) and became involved in political protest againstApartheid.
He left South Africa in1962 and went into exile to several African countries, Czechoslovakia and Germany. While living in Germany he married his first wife, Esther, and they had two daughters, Nomusa and Lindie.
Eventually Mzimela moved to the United States to study for his Master of Divinity degree at the General Theological Seminary. After being ordained as an Episcopal priest in 1976, he obtained a PhD in Ethics at New York University. He eventually settled in Atlanta and became an assisting priest at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church.
Mzimela had a beautiful singing voice and he even cut a record in 1978, co-produced with Abdullah Ibrahim, titled Liberation: Freedom Songs .
He lived in New York for 10 years and served as the ANC representative to the United Nations.
In 1990, Mzimela returned to South Africa after 29 years in exile and much to his family’s surprise, suddenly joined the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP).
The IFP’s Constitution was amended in 1995 so that he could be appointed as the IFP’s national deputy chair. This put him directly in the line of succession to the national chair, Frank Mdlalose.
He participated in the drafting of the first constitution for a democratic South Africa. After the elections, Mzimela was appointed Minister of Correctional Services in the South African government of national unity under Nelson Mandela, from 1994 to 1998.
It was under Mzimela’s direction that Robben Island, the primary political prison in South Africa, was closed. He also advocated for an instituted juvenile correctional facilities to protect incarcerated children from adult inmates.
However, following a spectacular falling-out with IFP leader Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Mzimela was expelled from the IFP in 1999. An IFP disciplinary hearing, held in Cape Town, found Mzimela guilty of bringing the party into disrepute.
Mzimela continued in parliament, briefly as a United Democratic Movement representative, until he officially retired from politics in 2001. Mzimela moved back to Atlanta, USA in 2002, where he served as an associate priest at St Bartholomew’s Church. He also taught in the Religious Studies Department at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta.
He authored three books, Apartheid: South African Nazism, Wither South Africa and Marching to Slavery.
Sipo Elijah Mzimela, died on 2 February 2013 at Odyssey Hospice in Decatur (Atlanta), Georgia.

Susan Mitchinson, Woodcut, "Wanting to be together".Signed woodcut by one of Namibia's Masters, Susan Mitchinson (1953 - 2014). The woodcut 6/20, measures (410 x 570), and is called "Wanting to be together". The piece is glass framed (730 x 900).Susan Mitchinson was born and raised in Newcastle-on-Tyne in England. Beauty is a thing of hope, she says, and this phrase symbolizes her work. She is fascinated by Romanticism, especially as illustrated by the individual and its relationship with the classes.Originally a student of literature and bound for the teaching profession, her career path made an abrupt turn "when I realized you only have one life to do what you want". But literature still very much affects her work, as well as experiences and changing environments. "Since I have been in Africa, my work has become much stronger and everything is more positive and solid. My style has gone from something expressionistic to something more spiritual."For this dynamic and outspoken artist, freedom of movement, expression, choice and association are prime requisites in life. Through her intense experiencing of the world, these are fused into her memory and gouged into the patient grain of her wood blocks. "It's like sculpturing in the way that you become part of that piece of art", she says.

Cecily Sash Working Years Edited by Victor Thorne1999 *never been opened in sealed plastic wrapping* Cecily Sash was a renowned artist and teacher. In her native South Africa she completed several mosaic panels still on display in public buildings, and became a major figure in the cultural landscape.
She lectured for nearly 20 years in the fine art department of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and, according to the art historian Esmé Berman, “Few South African artists of her generation exercised more influence”.
In the 1970s Cecily settled in Britain, feeling threatened by the apartheid regime, and she lived for the rest of her life in the Welsh Marches. She continued to produce and exhibit in the UK, in France, and back in South Africa – all the while changing and developing her style and at the same time teaching both children and adults.
Daughter of Bessie (nee Liverman) and Max Sash, she was born in Delmas in the Transvaal. Her father was a doctor, but at an early age Cecily showed a prodigious talent for art. She studied under Maurice van Essche at the Witwatersrand art school, and then, in London in the late 1940s, at Chelsea Polytechnic under Henry Moore, and Camberwell School of Art with Victor Pasmore.
While teaching at Jeppe girls’ high school in Johannesburg, she began to arouse the interest of educationists and received commissions for mural designs at sites such as the Transvaal provincial administration building in Pretoria, the University of the Witwatersrand, and the Transvaal Institute of Architects. Her styles were initially decorative and representational, in mosaic, paint or tapestry, but she began to put more emphasis on semi-abstract qualities.
In London she was one of 11 artists included in the South Africa artists’ exhibition at the Grosvenor gallery in 1965, and her first solo show was held at the Boundary gallery in 1978. Her work was shown at the Sao Paolo, Venice and Florence biennales.
Two studies of her work have been published: Cecily Sash: Working Years (1999) and Cecily Sash – Artist and Teacher (2013).
