This all-in-one unit offers "Plug and Play" convenience for power cuts and load shedding. Simply plug it all in and enjoy uninterrupted power - what could be simpler?.SOLAR: You can use this unit with mains only or you can add solar panels to assist with charging during the sunny hours..INSTALLATION: Although this can be used as a plug n play, if your devices are in multiple locations or you want built in lights to be powered, you may have this unit hard wired into your Distrubtion Board. We do not offer this service but we can refer you to a suitably qualifed installer. Any damage that occurs during installation is not covered under warranty..OVERLOAD: Check if this is the right size system for you. Your total watts should never exceed the inverter size. If you overload an inverter with more power than it is rated to supply, you will damage the inverter. This is called overload and any damage is not covered under warranty. As this combo has 2 x 12.8v 100Ah the maximum you can pull from the battery bank is 2400w. We recommend you keep well under maximums to avoid accidental overloads & shutdowns..SURGE/LIGHTENING PROTECTION: We recommend you have SPDs (Surge Protection Devices) installed on your DB Board in order to get maximum protection against surge and lightning damage. Eskom surges are rife and surge protection plugs offer minimal protection. Surge/Lightening damage is not covered under warranty. You can view the SPDs we offer here NB: You will need an electrician to install the SPD https://www.maidenelectronics.co.za/Surge-Protection.BATTERY TYPE & WARRANTY: This unit comes with 2 x 12.8v 100Ah Vestwoods Lithium Ion LiFePO4 batteries which carries a 3 year conditional manufacturers warranty. Terms and conditions are available on request..BATTERY BANK SIZE & LOAD: Although this is a 3kw inverter, the mazimum load possible in backup mode cannot exceed 2400w due to the battery bank size..INVERTER WARRANTY: This inverter carries a 1 year manufacturers warranty which excludes damage through misuse/abuse of any kind.
