The apartment is very comfortable with most things you need while living away from home. Walking into the apartment you have an open-plan kitchen to the right, with a dining island and further in is the fabulous lounge area with doors to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic appliances and utensils to prepare your meals should you enjoy cooking. The garden area is lovely and quiet, note that the walkway to the pool is shared by all the residents of the block. Access to the pool area is just a few steps away. The two bedrooms lead off from the lounge and are separated by the shared bathroom which has a shower only. The primary bedroom is fitted with a comfortable queen-size bed, a hand-made quilt and enough cupboard space to unpack for your stay. The room is sunny and over looks the lovely garden. There is a desk/vanity in this room too. The second bedroom is fitted with two single beds; ideal if you are a family travelling, or business travellers. These single beds have 3/4 duvets for extra comfort. An office in a cupboard in the lounge is useful if you have to do some work to do, pull out the desk shelf and bring the chair around. The cupboard has a printer and scanner should you require. The lounge is comfortable with its two sofas. High speed WiFi for streaming and business needs is provided. Watch Netflix, play games when youre spending time relaxing. You are welcome to read books from the bookshelf too. We have a dedicated parking spot in bay 3 in a secure parking area for guest usage.The Rondebosch Common has a great and safe running/walking track with its amazing views of Table Mountain. Kleinbaai, where Fort Wiltshire is situated, is a bustling little coastal town renowned for it’s white shark cage diving and boat-based whale watching.Our house is located near the end of a cul-de-sac and overlooks the first fairway of the local 9-hole golf course. From the house one has views over the fairway, the coastal bush and the sea beyond - one really experiences peace and tranquillity here. The house accommodates a maximum of 12 people including children in four bedrooms - three double rooms and one single room with a cot - and a loft area with two double beds and two single beds.There are two shared bathrooms, one with a bath and a shower and the other with a shower; we do not supply towels.The lounge, dining room and kitchen are all open plan under an open double-volume roof with lofty windows that bring brilliant rays of sun into the living areas. Being right on the golf course, the large windows and sliding door lead onto the balcony and lend themselves to the wonderful, undisturbed views over the golf course, the coastal bush and the sea beyond.The lounge has a fireplace which warms the house beautifully in the winter. There is a radio/CD player, but no TV. The house is well appointed with the kitchen fully equipped with all the amenities one would have in your own kitchen - dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, electrical oven, fridge and bar fridge.For the braai enthusiasts we have a personally-built stone boma fireplace with braai grid, sheltered by the milkwood tree at the front of the house. There is a double garage and off-street parking. Plus there is a washing machine.Fort Wiltshire is our home away from home.
