Our housekeeper and groundsmen have been under lockdown at Kloofzicht Estate since March.Kloofzicht Estate is the first wine estate as you approach the valley from the Nuwekloof Pass and is about 4 km from the picturesque village of Tulbagh. This self-catering country house is set in a tranquil valley surrounded by mountains on all sides.This double-storey thatched farm house sleeping eight to 10 people. The house has three bedrooms, a large open-plan kitchen, a lounge and dining area downstairs. Upstairs are the two remaining bedrooms and a second lounge. The farmhouse kitchen has a huge fireplace, marble counter tops, a dishwasher and a double oven.The kitchen leads onto the entertainment area outside which has a 14 seater table and a braai. The terrace leads to the 14 m swimming pool. All of this is just a few meters away from the dam which is excellent for bass fishing and is safe for swimming and rowing.
