We have spent so many lovely family holidays there.
The cottage sleeps x8 pax with an ensuite and a family shower room, open plan kitchen / dinning room / lounge with indoor fireplace, it has a dishwasher and washing machine and is serviced daily, there is a patio, a built in braai and under cover car port. The unit has a TV and wifi. The resort has a swimming pool, canoes for the dam, tennis court doubles up a paddle court, loads of walking / hiking trails / mountain bike tracks and full use of the facilities at Dragon Peaks which is a walk down the country road (bar with pool tables, restaurant, outdoor seating area, kiddies play ground, farm animal area, pool with slide, horse rides and helicopter flips and a superette onsite. It is close to Drakensberg Sun and Champagne sport and golf can be booked at both Champagne sport and monks cowl.. the Valley Bakery is close and several shops, curio shops and coffee shops.
Because it is school holidays, the recommended daily rate is R2 700 a night but if booking :
* the Full week, ie from Friday 29th March to Friday 4th April we would be looking for R17 000
* if booking just the weekend in on Friday 28th March and out on Monday 31st March (3 nights) = R7 500
* if booking mid week Monday 31st March to Friday 4th April (4 nights) = R9 600.
