My name is Somile, a reliable and loyal carer who is seeking for a full time post anywhere around Capetown, I trained as a caregiver in 2014 at Robin Trust Nursing college in Pinelands and obtained a carer certificate as well as Advanced First Aid, My practicals were done at Sub-acute clinic where I majored in caring for patients with different ailments which included bedridden, stroked patients, patients with Alzheimers and Dimentia, patients with Cancer, Diabetic patients, patients with Parkinsons disease, patients with disabilities etc. I took great care of all patients until I finished my course and graduated, It was a great experience to do my practicals at a clinic because that is where I learned how to work independantly as well as teamwork. After finishing training, I was employed as a livein carer at Somerset from 2015 until 2020 where I took great care of a patient who had a hip replacement. I assisted her in all daily activities as well as monotoring her medication and tidying up the flat. From Somerset west I worked at Brackenfell for a 73 year old patient who had Celebral Palsy and had slightly stroked, she was wheelchair bound and fed through a peg, I assisted her on all daily activities, fed her and monitored her medication, accompanied her to docter's visits as well as taking her out for walks in a wheelchair for fresh air, I took great care of her untiil the termination of my contract, I have worked for a number of clients since 2020 mostly on short period of time and my last client was a 78 year old at Summerly court in Kenilworth who had COPD and had difficulties in breathing whereby she used nebulizers to assist in her condition, I took great care of her as a day shift carer and performed all day to day activities as well as going to collect her medications. I worked until October this year when she moved to another province.
