SERIES NAME CORT STERLING SERIES S2800 (UPGRADE to: CORT S2500) Dates of manufacture 1998 to 2000 This particular S2800 is a MK1, 1st generation, high-end 1998 model. The S2800 has an offset Strat style body with an extra deep cutaway allowing easy access to the upper frets. The headstock was designed for straight string pull from the bridge to the nut. The S2800 models featured a soft maple body with a quilted maple top. Seymour Duncan pickups, Coil tap for coil splitting, Sperzel USA Trim-lok machine heads and a Wilkinson VS50II Tremolo and Wilkinson roller nut.
