Adhering to processes and procedures pertaining to your role and daily functions.
Attending to BDA exceptions and Comms reports daily
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 with the possibility to work overtime as and when required including some weekends and public holidays.

The Network Operation Centre (NOC) is responsible for ensuring the maximum possible service availability and performance for our customer facing ISP services and internal network. Sitting within the NOC, the network team are responsible for managing and maintaining the network providing these services. We are looking to recruit a Network Operations Engineer. While you will have some commercial experience working as a NOC Engineer, its more important that you have the aptitude and demonstrable skills needed to fulfil this role whilst experienced members of the team will help you develop your skills and confidence. We interact frequently with Customer Technical Support and Sales teams so its important that we can communicate ideas and information to people from a non-technical background. You need to have a good all-round understanding of networks design and engineering including systems integration. Once youve settled into the role, you will be asked to join our call-out rota providing 24x7 support for our ISP services as well as covering both planned and unplanned out of hours work as required.

Ensure stable and reliable ISP network services (e.g., access products, service networks and core networks) via day-to-day network performance monitoring.
Network troubleshooting and fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and replacement/repair.
Trouble ticket generation and response; carrier interface and escalations.
Deployment and maintenance of network monitoring, analysis and reporting tools.

*Candidate Profile*
Experience of working on network equipment in an ISP environment, a large NOC or other such company associated with networking.
Experience with Mikrotik CCR and Cisco are very relevant.
CCNP certified or equivalent level of knowledge with relevant 3–5-year experience.
Good understanding of the following technologies: IP Protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP); IP filtering and firewalling; Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS); Quality of Service; Ethernet (STP, RSTP, .1q VLANs, QinQ).

*Duties:*
* Answers incoming phone calls from customers/stakeholders and perform duties including process sales orders, quotations, issue return authorizations, answer questions on products and/or services, research orders and other actions to resolve problems, and forward customer leads to the appropriate Sales Representative or Regional Sales Manager.
* Releases Backorders following stock receipt.
* Works closely with Sales reps. to ensure excellent customer service.
* Ensures efficient and effective processes for sales order entry, return authorisations, credits, complaint handling, and other customer-service duties.
* Assist customers with pricing queries as per relevant approved price list.
* Works closely with Sales reps. to ensure timeous completion of Quotations received.
* Daily tracking of all Quotations received and submitted.
* Assist in processing incoming orders and returns in a timely manner.
* Researches and resolves customer complaints.
* Research errors for possible corrective action.
* Responds to customers within 48 hours with a solution or feedback on the progress of the query.
* Responsible for the stock return process with 3PL and ensuring accuracy and completeness of returns.
* Responsible for reporting the performance of Customer care to Management.
* Responsible for all customer service administration.
* Responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the Quotations Tracker/register
* Responsible for performing the analysis of the quotations tracker as directed by Management.
* Assist with all Supply Chain activities as directed and required.

IG’s Service Desk team are the first point of contact between end users and IT, the team are responsible for recording incidents and service requests within IG, and work to either restore service as quickly as possible, also where required, alert and / or escalate to the specialist support team. The position requires technical troubleshooting abilities and excellent customer service skills.
* Triage incidents and service requests via phone, e-mail, communicator, ServiceNow.
* Troubleshoot end user incidents and where possible resolve upon first contact.
* Accurately record and document all details of the incident or service request, including categorization and priority into ServiceNow
* The primary base of this role is to proactively work with the global Service Desk team to support the EMEA region with various aspects of the role supporting local office during periods of absence.
* This role encompasses all areas of technology used within the desktop environment including Microsoft, Apple, and a range of bespoke applications supporting both the trading desk and general IT infrastructure.
You will need experience in:
* Windows 10 and MacOS support desktop infrastructure within a large financial (or similar) organisation.
* Active Directory administrative experience within a medium / large organisation.
* Application deployment and maintenance, including testing and documentation.
* Practical understanding of computer hardware and software.
* Experience working with Call logging systems e.g. ServiceNow.
* Experience of Java in a desktop environment
Desirable Skills:
* Supporting a mobile workforce within a secure enterprise environment
* Experience of general administration of Office 365 or similar
* Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) or similar enterprise software delivery & management application
* Endpoint protection products e.g. Lumension.
