Purpose of Role
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Groundsman / Factory
Cleaner to maintain a clean, tidy, and sanitised environment across our factory
facilities and grounds. This role is critical in supporting food safety
standards, preventing cross-contamination, and ensuring compliance with good
housekeeping practices.
Key Responsibilities
•
Cleaning and
sanitising factory ablution facilities, entrances, walkways, and general
grounds.
•
Maintaining
cleaning equipment in good condition and ensuring proper storage.
•
Assisting
with chemical dilutions and adhering to cleaning schedules/checklists.
•
Supporting
non-manufacturing tasks such as sorting and packing cores, assisting with
maintenance, and general orderliness.
•
Reporting
any non-conformances, safety concerns, or maintenance issues promptly.
Ideal Candidate
•
Previous
experience in food-safe facilities or environments where hygiene and sanitation
are critical.
•
Understanding of cross-contamination risks, sanitation procedures, and
compliance with safety standards.
•
Physically
fit, hardworking, and attentive to detail.
•
Willingness
to follow company policies and procedures.
•
Team player
with a proactive attitude.
Training
Induction training will be provided to ensure full
understanding of our cleaning protocols, safety standards, and company
procedures.
