We are looking for a dedicated NACE Level 1 Coating
Inspector to join our team in the Jacobs, Durban and Richards Bay areas. This
position is based in RICHARDS BAY but will require occasional visits to our
head office in Jacobs, Durban.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be
responsible for performing inspections of industrial coatings in accordance
with NACE standards. This includes surface preparation, application, and curing
processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducting inspections of surface preparation and coating
application processes.
Documenting inspection results and maintaining records.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality
standards.
Collaborating with the team to resolve any issues that arise
during the coating process.
Qualifications:
NACE Level 1 Certification is required.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent Excel and MS office skills.

Key Performance Areas: • Planning, management, and implementation of the Writing Centre programmes • Facilitate the development of academic writing competencies amongst staff and students • Conduct research on language and academic literacies • Participate in staff and students support provided by the TLDC and other departments • Design and deliver learning materials on writing pedagogies • Collaboration with lecturers in developing disciplinary writing content Minimum Requirements: • Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, or Master’s degree in Language Education. • A minimum of three (3) years in teaching English as a Second Language in a • A minimum of three (3) years working in a Writing Centre in a Post School Education and Training (PSET) environment.
