Job & company description:As a quality welder, you will play a key role in ensuring that all welded components and assemblies meet required specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. You will work in a busy fabrication workshop, collaborating closely with fabricators, engineers, and quality control personnel to deliver defect-free welding work that supports manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities:You will interpret and work from fabrication drawings and welding symbols to produce high-quality welded assemblies using the appropriate welding techniques. You will prepare, fit, and weld metal components using manual and semi-automated welding processes. You will inspect and test welded joints to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards, identifying and correcting defects where required. You will maintain welding equipment and ensure all tools are kept in good working condition. You will adhere to all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
