We are looking for a skilled Spray Painter to join our production team and ensure our products meet the highest quality and finish standards. Job PurposeThe Spray Painter will be responsible for preparing, priming, and spray-painting Putzmeister machinery, components, and equipment to ensure a high-quality finish that meets company and industry standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our brand reputation for durable and aesthetically excellent products. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces of machinery, components, and assemblies for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.Apply primers, base coats, and topcoats using spray-painting techniques to achieve the required finish.Mix paints, coatings, and materials according to specifications, ensuring correct color matching and consistency.Conduct inspections to ensure surfaces are properly prepared and paint applications meet Putzmeister quality standards.Maintain spray-painting equipment, spray booths, and tools in good working order.Identify and report any defects or quality concerns during the painting process.Ensure compliance with company safety policies, PPE usage, and health and safety regulations.Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and assembly teams to ensure deadlines are met.Keep accurate records of paint usage, stock levels, and maintenance activities. Key Requirements QualificationsMatric / Grade 12 (essential).Trade Certificate / Relevant Spray Painting Qualification (advantageous).Training in automotive or industrial spray-painting techniques is highly desirable. ExperienceMinimum 35 years experience as an industrial spray painter, preferably in heavy machinery, construction equipment, or automotive manufacturing.Experience working in a high-volume production environment will be advantageous. Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of spray-painting techniques, equipment, and materials.Ability to prepare and finish surfaces to a high standard.Knowledge of color matching, mixing, and coating specifications.Familiarity with Putzmeister or similar heavy-duty machinery is an advantage.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.Atte
