1. #Components:
- #L: Line (power input).
- #C: Common terminal of the compressor.
- #S: Start winding.
- #R: Run winding.
- #Overload: Protective device that cuts power if the compressor overheats.
- #Relay: Starts the compressor by engaging the start capacitor.
- #Capacitor: Provides a phase shift for starting torque (32100 F, 300450 V).
2. #Operation:
- Power enters through #L #overload #C* (common).
- The relay connects the start capacitor to the #S (start) winding for initial torque.
- Once running, the relay switches to the #R (run) winding.
- The overload protects against excessive current or temperature.
3. #Connections:
- #S and #R are internal compressor windings.
- The capacitor is wired between the relays start terminal and the #S terminal.
- The green line indicates the grounding/neutral path.
